APHC MEMBERS CELEBRATE WORLD PLUMBING DAY
APHC members are doing their bit to promote World Plumbing Day. One Nottingham based company have taken an interest in the day and have downloaded and printed one of the official banners for the day and have attached these to their fleet of vans.
World Plumbing Day has been created by the World Plumbing Council to raise awareness of the fact that plumbers do important and responsible public health work in both developed and developing countries.
APHC Chief Executive, Clive Dickin commented “It is important that people participate in days like this and reflect on the important work that plumbers carry out all over the world. We are lucky in this country, to have proper sanitation systems in place, but spare a thought for the developing countries where water-borne diseases are still a common threat. By raising awareness with days such as this we can help improve the situation for everyone."
