APHC MEMBER SAVES OVER £12,000 ON NOTIFICATIONS
In the four months since APHC launched its comprehensive notifications system, one of its largest members says the system has saved them over £12,000. Kinetics, a national facilities management provider with a £115 million turnover, needs to notify thousands of jobs each month, so the small saving it makes on each and every notification is quickly magnified.
Notifications on APHC’s system cost from just £1.50 each online. Gas work can be reported, as well as
Plumbing Systems, Oil, Solid Fuel, Part P Defined Scope, Renewable Systems and Water Regulations - all in one place. Recent modifications mean that customers can now manage their own accounts even better, making the whole system more cost and time effective.
Ed Hickey, Compliance & Partnering Director, Kinetics Group
, comments:
“We joined APHC because we could see the potential for real efficiencies by using the APHC notifications scheme and we have not been disappointed. The nature and volume of our business means notification is happening every hour of every day around the country and we really needed to find a system that would reduce costs and
bureaucracy whilst condensing the administration functions. The fact that you can now report gas work with APHC as a one-stop-shop option made the decision an easy one for us.”
Clive Dickin, Chief Executive of APHC, commented:
“Since launching the system, our aim has been to provide a cost-effective alternative notification route for all companies regardless of size. As the number of jobs that require notification continues to increase, and enforcement is strengthened, all companies will be looking for the most efficient way to notify. We hope our system will be as invaluable to conscientious sole traders as it is to companies like Kinetics.”
