Funding for training is a complex and confusing subject for employers, employees and new recruits alike. This is why the Association of Plumbing & Heating Contractors has created a Training Funding Guide for its members, which clarifies what funding is available and to whom.
The Guide explains everything that employers or trainees need to know about funding for technical certificates, apprenticeships or full Plumbing NVQs. Funding streams covered include the Education Maintenance Allowance, Apprenticeships, the Learning Through Work scheme, Train to Gain, Professional and Career Development Loans, and the 50+ In Work Training Grant. The Guide will be updated regularly to take into account changes to schemes, agencies and Government policy.
