APHC CONGRATULATES CHRIS LONSDALE

SkillPlumb 2009 winner Christopher Lonsdale has won a medallion of excellence at the WorldSkills competition in Calgary. Chris competed alongside candidates from 23 other countries and has faced a series of challenges over the 5 day competition to  successfully gain 520 points.

 

Clive Dickin, Chief Executive of APHC, commented:

 

“APHC would like to congratulate Chris on his medallion of excellence. He is the first UK Plumbing candidate to come away with a medal in many years and is a testament to the new training and support systems in place. APHC are delighted to support the UK Skills team and the WorldSkills competition.”

 

The UK team also came away with medals in other disciplines totalling 3 Golds, 6 Bronzes and 14 Medallions of Excellence.  Richard Sagar, winner of the SkillElectric 2009 competition won a gold medal in the Electrical Installation Competition.
